The Millennial Ustad series, starring Arbani Yasiz, Yuriko Angeline and Prilly Latuconsina, is ready to become the most expensive series on WeTV.

Producer Eko Kristanto collaborated with director Hestu Saputra in his latest project entitled Ustad Millenial.

The Ustad Millennial series stars a number of well-known players, they are Arbani Yasiz, Prilly Latuconsina, Yoriko Angeline, Umay Shahab, Hanggini, Endy Arfian, Cut Mini, and Donny Alamsyah.

To the media crew, Eko Kristianto as the Producer of WeTV Original Ustad Millennial, was outspoken about the process of filming the series which was carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"I want to make the OTT platform like a film. The industry has to be good, it has to go up, whether it's a platform series, the web series is shooting the same, the foundation is making something serious. Hopefully the others will compete to beat this," said Eko Kristianto, WeTV Original Producer Ustad Millennial in his press statement, Monday (19/4/2021).

"If it is expensive or cheap, it is relative, yes. Here, all do not bear it. Religion with top quality. Hopefully it can have a tremendous impact on Indonesia," he continued.

The story itself begins when Ahmad (Arbani Yasiz) has successfully completed his education at the Gontor Islamic Boarding School.Ahmad also began to prepare himself to continue his education at his dream campus in Cairo, Egypt.his decision was taken as part of his plan to serve at the pesantren as Ustad.Unfortunately, Ahmad had to postpone his desire to go to Egypt after his father passed away.The best option he can make right now is to continue the family-owned business for which he is responsible.Problems came back in Ahmad's life, after he found out that his father was nearly bankrupt.This then forces Ahmad to ask for help from those closest to him.He began to look for ways to save his father's business, as well as to defend his dream of becoming a Ustad.
